Royer’s Flowers saluting veterans Nov. 11 with free red, white and blue bouquets

Royer’s Flowers & Gifts will honor veterans with free patriotic bouquets on Nov. 11.

The bouquets – featuring a red carnation, a white carnation and a blue bow – will be available in-store only at any of Royer’s 16 locations in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties.

“This is one of our favorite annual traditions,” said Tom Royer, president and CEO of family-owned Royer’s. “These men and women, along with their families, make great sacrifices while serving our country. It’s our privilege to honor our veterans.”

Non-veterans may purchase the bouquet for $2.10 each.

Royer’s Flowers & Gifts will continue an annual tradition when it honors veterans with free patriotic bouquets on Nov. 11.

The bouquets – featuring a red carnation, a white carnation and a blue bow – will be available in-store only at any of Royer’s 16 locations in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties.

Royer’s employees and customers are required to wear masks for their safety as part of the effort to combat COVID-19.

“We always look forward to Veterans Day and the opportunity to show our appreciation for the men and women who have selflessly served our country,” said Tom Royer, CEO of Royer’s.

Non-veterans may purchase the bouquet for $1.90.

The offer is available in-store only at any of Royer’s 16 stores in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties.

Non-veterans may purchase the bouquet for $3.99.

Royer’s Kids Club saluting veterans with Nov. 10 event in all stores

Red, white, blue and you!

For its final kids club event of 2018, the Royer’s Kids Club is honoring the service of all U.S. military veterans.

Children ages 5 to 12 will have an opportunity to make a patriotic arrangement, featuring red and blue carnations and an American flag.

As the price of admission, participants are asked to bring a new children’s book for Bouquets for Books, Royer’s annual book drive to benefit area public libraries.

Participants also will receive a balloon and may decorate a coloring page for Royer’s annual Holidays for Heroes event, which honors veterans and active military members.

Time slots are available at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Registration is required by calling the nearest Royer’s store.

Any U.S. veteran who stops by a Royer’s store on Nov. 11 will receive a free red, white and blue bouquet.

“No one is more deserving of a national day of honor than the men and women who have served and sacrificed to protect our freedom,” said Greg Royer, president and CEO of the family-owned florist.

“It’s our privilege to offer this gesture of thanks on Veterans Day.”

The offer is available in person at all Royer’s stores.
